In need of some extra cash

When I’m asked what I do for a living my first and foremost profession I will always say is a DJ. It’s my passion, my raison d’etre if you will. When the regular work comes in financially things can be great and I’m on top of the world with the knowledge that not only am I doing what I love doing but I’m also making a living out of it as well. Earning money from your passion is one of the greatest things a person can wish for.

Bu the problem lies when the work isn’t that regular. It can be difficult finding the time to promote your work whilst trying to make ends meet at the same time. Some of us are lucky enough to find one of those radiographer jobs that occasionally go around, if you can find one of those you’re laughing. But in most cases you have to find a job that not only pays the bills but also is flexible enough to take on those last minuet gigs that pop up from time to time.

Something that would make it easier would be for the employers of those dead end jobs to realise that we really don’t want a career working in a call centre or serving coffee to people and to give us the opportunity of working for them on a much more relaxed basis. That way they might get a much more honest employer working for them. Where do I see myself in five years time? Not working for you that’s where.
